hey all, this may sound like I am going backward as of course we don't want the time/date stamp on entries. But for reasons of my own I would like to be able to take jpgs with the time/date stamp at the bottom, as I cannot count on other peeps knowing what EXIF data is or how to read it. Don't want to use a 3rd party software that may look it like I am trying to tinker the info to suit my needs. Manual and online Nikon forums useless. Any ideas?

Do you mean a timestamp visible in the JPEG straight out of camera? Can't be done with the Nikon. Don't know if any of the major DSLRs do it, but for sure not the D7100.
