I thINK when our current babies are gone, I won't get any more pets. I want to travel.
I love them and miss them while I'm gone, but it's difficult for Hubby and me to travel at the same time without worrying about them.

Well, don't be in a hURRy to dispense with your fURRy friends, but I completely understand the need to be unburdened of the responsibility -- I've been pet-free for a few years myself.

I certainly won't "dispense" with them... as if they were SEWage. I love them.
:D
But... That time is over when I want to stay at home with the pets. I want to travel... see some folks in foreign countries SEWing things, making things, doing things...

Seal colonies can be rather smelly, if you get my drift. AlthOUGh you can wear a breathing mask if necessary so that may be the ticket. The baby seals are sooo cute thOUGh, it would be tOUGh to avoid them even with the.. smell.

In Cabo San Lucas, near the rock arch and Lover's Beach, were a bunch of seals... almost within ARM's reach of our boat. There was no smell. I guess 'cause the ocean splashed up and washed the yuck away...
No hARM, no foul (smell). :D

Years ago my uncle owned a Chris Craft in So Florida and one day we went cruising in the ocean and saw what looked like a dog swimming nearby. Turns out it was a seal.. not something you see out there that often although we were told they occasionally swim in the area. I assume it was able to rEACh land or at least return to where it came from.

I guess given the lack of nasal rEACtion you can enjoy the seals in pEACe.

I guess I'm the one who has to talk about the little known NENSEA creature.
It lives under the sea, but's not square like Sponge Bob. It's kinda curvy... in a line, but not.
Its heart beats to the tune of "Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer", so is a big hit at the ocean holiday parties.
You'll know it when you see it.

If you look at the time stamps it should be obvious that I was writing my post while you were posting yours -- new posts don't show up while one is sTARting to compose a piece. Hopefully that's enough to polish up a TARnished reputation ...

I know.. these MESs-ups occasionally occur and beings there's only three of us in here we'll just deal with it. I like Lydia's idea of combining the letters.. only, what the heck is a nensea anyway??

I made up the NENSEA.
I felt like I was justified... according to the situation at hand.

It might create a NENSEA monster we'll never get rid of. Those NENSEAS really drive things hOME once they gain control, if you get my drift. ;-)
