Taxidermy Animal Used to Win Award

This is quite the story. If I'm not mistaken, these are the same people who had to DQ another winner for cheating in the past few years...

It's very surprising that this happened before and now again. Why is it, they didn't learn from their mistakes. We should assume that the original unedited version is checked before announcing the winner. SC council of DPC should handle it :)

He didn't alter the photo, he used a taxidermy animal, so it was not so easy to understand he was cheating.

Well, there's a substituted background ... we're a little short of biology professors though ...

Maybe it's easier if SC members get a crash course on ant-eating... :)

Right, there we go! Thanks, Art. I guess it was more than a "few" years ago, but time does fly...

I'm more impressed by the Photoshop skill.

Yeah I remember that wolf, the one that jumps like an agility dog and would have spooked every prey critter for miles. Not to mention beautifully lit by a flash. A real wolf would have barely been seen as it wound around or through that lovely openwork gate, staying as low to the ground and as quiet as possible.

He should have just gone with his original photo. Sure it lacks the rare and unique capture of a nocturnal anteater chowing on a late night snack, but it has it's own subtle details going for it.

Amateur. Those stars are totally unrealistic.
