| Heading to Charlotte the 27-30th of September for work. I'll be taking Friday the 29th off to go visit my mom near Asheville and my flight back to Texas isn't until 1630 on Saturday the 30th. Can anyone suggest interesting things to go see and photograph either in Charlotte or between Charlotte and Asheville? |

The US National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, NC can be fun to shoot. Depends on who is there and what they are doing. Will need a car to get there.
Plenty of architecture and urban landscapes in the uptown district if that floats your boat.
While in Asheville, the Biltmore Estate is a great place to visit. But if your mom is in Asheville, you probably already know that one.

Not really. I've only been out there once so far. My brother has lived there 7 years, but my mom was only recently moved there. Thanks for the suggestions.
