It's starting to get out of hand. Our local PrideFest pretty much banned any kind of serious photography as well. Not sure how this banning photography in public is getting traction. Whatever happened to public domain?

They probably haven't banned nightsticks though ... :-(
I sometimes have to walk with a cane, and something like a GorillaPod fits easily and unobtrusively in a pocket.
