I finally got my first digital slr guys and a couple of extra goodies!
Canon
EOS 10D, 6.3 Megapixel, SLR
Canon
Normal EF 50mm f/1.8 II Autofocus Len
Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 XR.
Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6II apo macro super
1gb utra II sandisk compact flash card

| Well, Jazper, It depends. Cost? Value? Resolution? The Digital Rebel is 6.3 megapixels, aimed at an entry level dSLR owner. The 10D is similar, but a bit more robust. I believe the 10D is somewhat being phased out for the 20D, a more updated version with an 8 megapixel sensor. The highest resolution camera is the full-frame sensor 1Ds Mark II, which has 16.7 megapixels and sels for about $8000 US. |

Why would you need that many megapixels?
What are the advantages of Mark II compared with the 20D or Rebel?

i have one - but painted it to look like the Drebel so it wouldn't be as likely to get stolen ;}
