Two people have looked at this and said "stupid pose", yet it doesn't seem stupid to me. Yes, I did chop off a few fingers and an entire hand, but it doesn't scream "stupid pose" to me. Does this need to go to the big bit bucket so nobody will see it again?

I honestly don't see the problem with the model's pose... Granted its really generic as a lot of models are shot in exactly like that. Perharps that's what they meant.

I like the pic actually, and the model brings energy to the shot nicely.

I dont think it's a tupid pose.
The shadow is a bit harsh.. but has nothing to do with the pose.

Photo looks good in B/W, like it.

The pose is good, very pretty girl, looking great, what's wrong with that?
I agree about the shadow and the fingers but the pose is ok.

This was a warm up shot while I waited for the sun to drop below the horizon, but I ended up liking it. Of course I'm kicking myself for not paying attention to the hands and fingers! And then a couple of 'observers' saw the proofs and said what a stupid pose. I know they didn't look close enough to see the fingers, so I'm trying to figure if my brain is wired wrong or what.

Thanks for looking!

This is a decent shot and the pose is quite allright...but I wonder, how bad would a pose need to be for it to be acceptable to call it "stupid"! One comment, I'd say...idiot...but a few...I just don't get it.

Definately not a stupid pose... I also quite like the sharp shadow because it gives the feel (and obvious brightness) of a bright sunny day whithout coveying it through the use of colour
