The map is great! It's a nice perspective to see where everyone is located.

This is very cool, I love it. It's nice to see a fellow Iowan on the map.

Just about four or five miles to the west. My old neighborhood was in Troy, MI on one side of the street and Sterling Heights was on the other side.

DP challenge is a challeng for me to us, but this is anoying:

Browser Error

We have detected that you are using an out-of-date browser.

Please upgrade to a more current browser to view the GuestMap.

Please install a current version of Netscape or Internet Explorer.

Im sorry I cant afford a newer machine that will run those newer more bloated browsers.

As it is, 90% of DPC works better for me if I turn off stylesheets. SIGH.

The 10% that doesnt work is looking at the pictures after the voting. for somereason nothing comes up on the screen. If I view the source its all there, and I put in the link direct to the picture it comes up, just not in the stylesheet form that is used.

I added myself. But someone was already hogging most of Seattle, so I ended up kind of out in the Cascade Mountains. Oh well, I always wanted a cabin in the woods with a view.

RJ,

Please keep in mind that the guestmap is not part of DPChallenge, and as such Drew and Langdon have no control over its design. It's something on a 3rd-party site that a member set up for people to play with.

If you are having any site-specific issues (that is, issues that occur with www.dpchallenge.com) please feel free to post them here.

Thanks, and sorry for any confusion.

Great map. Too bad it maxes at 100. Meika's back on shore, I'm in the ocean, but mainly by choice b/c the DC area seems so Crowded!

Which begs the question... Anyone up to DPChallenge Shutterbuggin'? A group outing to wine country perhaps sometime this fall when the colors change? Just a thought.

Ha ha -- out here "wine country" is taking the Wine Train through the Napa Valley (you can also go to Sonoma, Mendocino, Livermore, and numerous others by car/bus). I think they're praying for about two more weeks of no rain to get the red grapes to optimum condition...I'm headed for the Trinity Alps myself.

Tim, count me in! You know it doesn't take much to get me down there.
