Only 6,694 on my Digital Rebel since 11/03/2003 and 608 on my 20D since 09/22/2004.

I have 3000 with my nikon 4300 and about 600 with my Nikon D70. I had my d70 for about two or three months so I am still getting use to it and experimenting with it. I had my Nikon 4300 for about a year or two.

I have searched and can't find where in the E-10 that is viewable/
Anyone else with one of these 5-year old vintage cameras know?

Mostly it's by file number, no? I was just guessing on mine - I'm up to folder 206Canon and my image numbers are like 0604, so I'm guessing 100 per folder, 206 folders....20600 images?

Not sure if Olympus does the same.
My last image taken (today) is PA183623.JPG
The PA has to do with year (at least the A part - October. P9173085.jpg was Sept 17th, file 3085) What the P is I haven't been able to find out. Last 4 numbers is sequential number for ?

I only have 3400 in 9 months!
Now I understand my low improvement!
If I could have much time to shoot....(taking a big long breath)

4442, but if I remember correctly I got it with around 2000 on it. So... maybe 2500 in 3 months.

2,244 since July 20, 2004. Approximately 24 pictures per day, if I did the math right. Of course, 350 of those were at my cousin's wedding, another 200 or so at a local street fair, around 250 on vacation at Niagara Falls...

In 2 weekends in September I must have shot over 5,000 photos (dog agility competition photos in continuous shooting mode).

See some of my favourite ones here.

I wasn't even aware that shutter problems could occur eventually (also blushing...).

How does one know, exactly, when the shutter is failing (so I know what to look for)....

Two! First two shots with a sparkling, shining, still wet from the paintjob in the factory Nikon D70 in the last minute. :)

The S602 doesn't count because it has no real shutter, but it has about 20.000 shots on it.

i usually average between 1000 and 1500 per month :)
