Dude! I had no idea you were in that area! We could have hooked up several times on one of the regular trips Penny and I make to the Bay Area and Carmel. Next time! Promise? And congrats on retirement, you'll love it.

Congratulations, enjoy your retirement. My hubby retired last year and is finding it better than he anticipated - mostly. (Just stay off ladders, though!)

I guess your announcement makes me a kindred spirit. I retired at the end of 2016. I'm flat out busy with the early transition, but I see the light at the end of the (very short) tunnel I am traveling. I am already finding some time for photography. You are going to love it.

More time for music, too! What's your instrument(s)?

I played trumpet in HS and French Horn in college. A little guitar for personal therapy only. Haven't played in years. More time for music would be best accomplished with a pair of headphones and some favorite recordings. Yep... sounds good!

Well, good for you!!! I have to say your probably doing the smart thing and getting out of education now...I have several teachers/education employees as my clients and they just don't know how they are going to continue to cope with teaching/education restraints, many of which are counting down the days/years until they can retire...Plus your going to have sooooo much fun taking more pictures...can't wait to see them!!!
