Holy crap, that's black! Now, c'mon, they actually gave him exclusive rights to use the material in the entire arts field?? Crazy stuff.

sounds like we need a VANTABLACK challenge. or at least black.

LOL!

Yeah, some levity for the season.

Since it Vantablack requires high heat for application, I can't imagine how it they could actually apply it. Plus it can get scratched off pretty easily.

But yes, he has exclusive "artistic" use of the stuff.

I see the Bean most weekdays. I think I would have remembered this. Kapoor is the designer of the Bean and he appears to have licensed Vantablack for art, but...

Well, in my defense, there is a version of Vantablack that can be applied by spray and then post-processed at low temperatures, so coating the bean is not as far fetched as you might imagine.

As soon as I saw it I just said (pardon the expression) 'Oh, balls.' What a ridiculous fake, the PS in it is so bad and unconvincing that hell I could have pulled it off!!!!
