A few years ago (4 or 5 if I remember correct) we had a Christmas / Holiday card exchange. I don't remember who handled it, but it was a lot of fun. Not only getting mail the old fashioned way but seeing the creativity of everyone live and in person. Of course, making your own card is not necessary.

If anyone is interested post your name here and PM me your address. I'd be please to be the keeper of the list. Addresses will only be sent, via PM to members who are interested and supply their own address. No personal information will be posted in the forums. I'll keep this post going till the first week in December. I will PM the list of addresses around December 5th which should give everyone time, no matter what part of the world you live in. So I guess that makes me the first to say ... Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! and Happy New Year 2017!!!

It looks like your idea doesn't meet with a lot of response. That's a shame, because I'd love to get Christmas cards from all over the world and of course I'll send some too.

If nobody else wants to join in, we'll write each other a card, ok, Diane?

I'm in for this. My kids would be very happy to craft and send/receive cards for Christmas.
I live in Taiwan.

Thanks Barbara and Georges. I'm going to try and keep this going for a while and see what happens. If we're just a small group thats ok too. It will be fun.

Part of the charm of DPC is the multinationalism. I am in and hopefully it will grow.

Thanks Paul and I agree. I chose this time of year because most people celebrate in one way or another. But I'm open to getting a "Get Well" card for a not so great score ;-)

I think this would be very fun.

We're not doing cards this year, or I would be thrilled to join.

Also, one problem might be that there usually is an extended-editing challenge where people enter their cards... so... getting it in the mail might be AS exciting if you've already seen it online.

Edit: Might not be AS exciting*

I'm so excited. I have a friend in California that keeps a list and mails everyone on her list cards. Friends at church exchange at church but I receive very few Christmas Cards. I would love to take part.

I am dealing with a broken elbow right now so, Been kinda down because its having to be in a cast way longer than planned and I had to cancel 3 photog fall/winter sessions cause of it... This would def. Get my spirits up....I am in.

Great idea and this will be fun, plus give me a reason to dig out my scrapbooking stuff.
