Anyone ever try one of these? Its 3.2 megapixels, but it has absolutely no clarity to the images at all. Any advice on cleaning it up? And how can 3.2 be so bad? Or Nikon for that matter?

I have also noticed that pixel count is only one small part of the mix.

Sorry about the double post - bumped at the wrong time!

Ya, sorry. Kodak. Is there any cleanup possible to the images?

Can you post some examples? I am not familiar with that model at all, but I used to have a Kodak 6440 and now I have the 7590.

I can't upload to this group because I'm not a full member. You may be able to see it through my yahoo photos account, but its pretty small there. photos.yahoo.com/brockangelo, then click on October. I don't think you can see the full size there, you may be able to. I may have to sign up here for full membership...but that may ultimately need I'll need to buy a new camera to make it worth my while...hmmm :)

Hi! I took a look at Steve's Digicams review of the camera and your photo. From what I saw, this is a very simple, entry level camera best suited to well-lit snapshots. Yours appeared to have been taken indoors with existing or low light. Steve's test photo of those conditions looked poor in my opinion. The outdoor shots appeared fine. If you are really wanting to go beyond family/vacation shots, I think you might need a little more to really be satisfied with your photos. Or use this as a starting point to start looking at new perspectives, angles, subjects, etc. You don't have to have a fancy camera, but you will want one you can work with creatively and with a little more range, I think. This is just an opinion, obviously. Hope it helps a tiny bit.

Thanks for the info, it does look like its not got much to offer. Hmph. Thanks for the info, I'll keep looking for a nicer digi.
