Hi all,

I want to share one of my experiences with you. I am uploading and selling my photos at stock photobanks for several years, till now everywhere without problems, including those really big and demanding as ShutterStock, DreamsTime or Fotolia.

I wanted to add some next stock photobanks. One of them was (site name removed). I uploaded a part of a set, which is approved already at various other photobanks, nothing new.

As the author is not passing the basic approval at (site name removed), step by step I got there more than 600 photos, which were waiting 2 months for approval (I knew that, they say it in the very beginning, so that was not a problem). How big was my surprise, when they rejected ALL of them. For reference, my approval ratio at the other photobanks is 80-90% and I have in my portfolio various topics from a variety of countries (architecture, nature, landscapes, abstract, textures etc.). I contacted the photobank and they insisted on their decision, there are mistakes and simply NO. The same mistakes? In all of the 600 photos??? Are they wrong in all the other stock photobanks?
I am thinking for the authors who are just starting and still don't have experience, as this can definitely destroy their ambitions. That would be a pity.
We are disappointed sometimes, when we have to wait for the approval based on 5-10 photos, but its much better like this.
I cross my fingers for you and wish you better experiences than the ones I had.

I have not heard about (site name removed) yet as a stock photobank, its not so popular I guess. Anyway thank you for sharing your own experience here with us.

Smells like ham in a can.

Strange. According to whois.com, (site name removed) was created in 2005. Its Alexa ranking is 11,990. Based on those details it sounds like a legitimate site.

I have a quick glance at the site and their image prices seem to be a lot higher than sites like Shutterstock, Dreamstime etc, so I presume that they except higher quality. Or maybe they don't want images that are available elsewhere at a fraction of the price.

Message edited by Neil - I think the original post was simply to reference a stock site. So I've edited (site name removed).
