I was honored to have eleven photos published in the 2016 Estes Park Visitors' Guide. Many of them have their origins in photos captured for DPC challenges. So, thanks for the inspiration. I believe there are around 500,000 issues sent out nationally and internationally. More than 4 million people visited Rocky Mountain National Park in 2015. Be sure to stop by my gallery to say "hi" when you're in town.

That's terrific! And it's a VERY well put together guide, too. Here on Cape Cod, few of them are...

Congrats, Richard! Some beautiful images, and as Robert said, a very well put together guide. I'm kind of hoping that we can get up to Estes Park this Fall. We'll see how our plans unfold.

Thanks to all for the nice comments! Much appreciated. The Visitors' Guide has brought many people to my gallery. I'm fortunate to have been involved in the advertising effort.

Congrats, Richard. One of my favorite places on earth - you're fortunate to be so close. Hoping one day I will be as well.

Congrats Richard! I enjoy looking at your pictures, it takes me back.

When I was a kid we went camping in the Rockies almost every weekend in summer. Leadville was a very small town then, making its living off the locals. Boulder was a small college town. We seldom encountered any other campers & never saw a Ranger. That's gone for good.

Ditto for me. I've been in RMNP a number of times, but the last time was maybe in 1972... I'm amazed when I see how many visitors they get now up there :-)

Heh heh. If I could find Daddy's slides, I'd post them for the laugh. Daddy drove a Jeep left over from WWII & I rode on top of the camping gear (a lot of it was Army surplus, too) in the back. No seat belts!
