Hello everyone

I am looking into buying a pen tablet for picture editing, and I am looking for recommendations...What do you guys use? do you love or hate what you have? thank in advance for the input. Happy Holidays!

I just got an iPad Pro... can I edit pictures on it?
I will say that I chose this tablet for it's viewing pleasure (and detail)!

I was looking into a Wacom pen tablet, but not sure if they are good.

If you mean, a "tablet" you connect to your computer and draw on with a stylus, instead of mousing, then yes, Wacom is the way to go. They have various levels of product at different price points. They all seem to work well within their stated parameters.

Alright, then :-) Most of us have found that unless you're seriously into DRAWING with the tablet, the smaller size is more than adequate for photography work.

What if you wanted a stand alone tablet? Can any of them handle Creative Cloud and/or LightRoom? I want something portable that can handle photo editing and then I would transfer my images to my desktop when I returned home.

Oooo wow I LOVE my wacom tablet Intuos2..a bit bgger and bulkier, one of my friends gave me their older tablet becuae they brought a newer one.. not something I would normally get myself...I am finding they are super percise and I am left handed soo using photoshop and ligt room has made editing much more fun...the cloning coloring it really speeds up my process esp usig the lasso tools and other tools which require percise touches. .after having one I use it all the time and I don't have cramping in my hands from he mouse..I did have to set up the pen and tablet to how I wanted it.. come to say I will never live without one now as long as I edit.

Also the smaller ones won't have all the rasy whistle functions on the top..I find those easy button short cuts on top essential to work with..

Do you have the Intuos PRO? when typed Intuos2 only the stylus came up? Also, what size do you have? small, medium or large? sorry for all the questions.

Mine is a really older model but it works perfectly like new, my friend did not use it a lot because she needed a smaller one that was more travel friendly lol...Mine is a large one and is bigger than my keyboard on my laptop hahahaa

I have (two) Wacom tablets I used to edit about 200 pictures for a book in 1995 which still work on my (vintage) Mac G3.

I haven't used one myself but i got this one for my high schooler to use with Manga studio drawing software and she is pretty happy with it. It also comes in black. Since its so cheap it can be used to "test the waters" if one is not sure if a pen tablet is the right tool for them.
