Lightroom tips and tricks

Not sure if any of you guys heard of Cole Joseph, but I have stumbled upon his webinars on Utube and in facebook and just watched one of his webinars for the first time last night.
.. For once something is making sense and I was able to use his guidance very quickly. For me, as some of you have worked with me on my editing before, it has been a huge struggle and challenge for me.
I love his way of style and teaching and lightroom was just a hard thing for me to wrap my thoughts around on how to edit things. Now, I finally feel I have a grasp on things especially when it comes to the catalogs and library.. photoshop has not been a picnic for me either... what a hot mess mine was.. I now have presets made up for my exports on photoshop and lightroom, which I never even gotten too in the other tutorials and I learned about the adjusting hue tool which I never knew either. Just blew me away

But he is someone to check out for sure. I love lightroom more than ever now!

Here was my latest by using his tutorials but my photo I just took this morning
It was supposed to go the "yellow" challenge and forgot about it having to be in jpg LOL! Maybe it was best I did not enter this one

But, I am finally starting to feel at ease and comfortable with this program now, and found my editing path "I THINK" ..I will always have issues with with my red/green deficiency but nevertheless, the way to do things made things much easier! I feel I have some what of a ground to claim and path to follow which just makes sense to me.

For the first time I am very excited about this learning now and having it make sense is priceless. :0)

*Feeling the happy dancing coming on and pretty satisfied* Plus another image I took today was also used for the local news channel at noon using the editing steps Cole had taught in his webinars.
Just wanted to share this in case anyone else wanted to check him out!

I have watched Anthony Morgatani, Kelby one webinars, adobe ones, B&H webinars, Gavin Seim, On1 and many others.
Cole's webinars have been my favorite by far :-))

Forget it having to be JPEG, how about that under the Minimal rules it is extremely unlikely any of the techniques in those tutorials would be valid since you are limited to resize, sharpen, and 90° rotations ...

However glad you found some tutorials which work well with your learning style!
