Down from 5.54. I think many don't think it fits the competition. But because of it's double meaning it certainly does. I think many don't understand the 2ndary meaning however. |

Typical next-day freefall. I was holding 6.64 after the first 24 votes. I wonder how much the early scores reflect voters who "categorize" by quickly assigning shots 4,5,6 scores then returning later to adjust? |

I am at 65 votes, a 4.5 score and zero comments. I worry that the more entries we have per challenge, the fewer comments we'll get :(

Is it just me or is there a general lack of comments being left on these entries. I think I maybe in the process of scoring my lowest ever score, not that thats hard, I have only entered three other challenges. But it is nice to know why people dont like your photograph in a helpful criticism type of way.

this is probably my best showing yet, but i did freefall from 6.75 earlier which had me optimistic. its weird that the scores always seem to freefall.. why is that?

ouch i dropped from about a 6.1 with 60 something votes to a 5.6 with 90 votes.... must be a lot of disgruntled voters out there or something.

I couldn't hold on to my 6 either.. sitting with a 5.8889.. and it's been bouncing around from 5.80 to 5.92 all day.
I've gotten some comments that people are wondering if my shot is real, so I put it up for validation.. perhaps when it's validated, I'll get a bump. But then.. possibly not as well.

Most consistant score I've had to date! Started @ 5.6, dropped to the 5.3's & bounced back....has stayed around here all day.
Judging from the comments though, I think some people have their screen set too bright....

are you aiming for the brown ribbon? :) I hope your shot does better by the end of the week.
I'm still at 6.3 with 7 comments. I think that people comment more on bad pictures than good ones. Has anybody else noticed this, too? |

People comment, people vote, but I'm still sitting on 4.6 for what is really a 10! Truthfully, I enter for the fun of it, just to try to meet the challenge...I can't influence the voting or comments, so I just shut up and watch! |

Been hanging pretty steady. At least it's better than my last one - which was my first one. Of course I do think it's a better pic, so I would be truly disapointed if it were not doing better.
I only have a view more to go thru to complete my first pass and then I will go back and fine tune, and add some more comments. There are so many entries that it's alot of work! |

I just finished a loooong stretch of voting and commenting, and I'm only 54% done with the pics in the challenge! Because of the shortage of time, I'm finding myself only commenting on the shots that stop me in my tracks, they're so good. (there are a few in the first 54%).
My own shot in hanging around at 5.5 and one comment. My daughter (smartypants) started at 4.9 but has climbed steadily to 5.4 and has 7 comments! |
