Hi guys,
I am only a new member here but have been coming to the site for a while. I feel that i have to tell a little story, you see the picture below is the first picture i took with my new s7000. A family snap, the far left is the mother of my baby and my intended, the girl on the far right is her younger sister, the girl in the middle is who the story is about and is the other sister. Her name is Pamela she is 31 years old, she has worked hard all her life, looked after herself, watched what she eats etc..

She met a fella from Spain and fell in love, the became engaged in the first half of 2004, bought there first house and moved in on June 2004. Pam has just passed her driving test and was mad about her little nephew and would take him to the Zoo in Dublin when ever possible. She was the first sister to see little Dylan after he was born. The general picture being is a fantastice person, kind, loving, devoted to her family.
On Sunday she got up like any other day, took her fiancee to her mums house so he would play football with her brother. when she got home at about noon, she ws talking to the neighbour as you do when she collapsed. she was rushed to hospital but died on route....

She sufferd a massive brain hemorrhage! she leaves behind 4 sisters and 3 brothers, and yound nephew and her mother. She will be deeply missed but always loved.
The lesson I learned today was never regret a day and always tell the people close to you how much you love them as you never know if you will see them again

Pamela we miss you.

This was the last time we ever saw Pam! she was always happy!

Sorry for the long post!
Brookie

Thank you for posting.
I'm so very very sorry for your loss.
It struck a painful chord for me.
Only a few years ago a dear friend of mine, also called Pamela, only 27 years of age, spent a fun night with her sister at home. They decided to do a sleep over and slept in the same room, they did each other's hair the next morning like they had when they were younger. And then Pamela left for the short drive to work.
A lorry came round a bend way too fast and when it swerved to avoid the traffic infront it hit and crushed Pamela's little car instantly.
I think I understand some of what you are going through and if you need a stranger to talk any of it through with, please feel free to email me. I am going overseas on Friday but will be on my PC everyday until then.
I still think of our Pamela very often. More often that I would have thought I'd still be thinking of someone this long after their passing.
And everytime I do I remember how lucky each of us are to be able to share another day with our friends and our family. How lucky we are to be able to enjoy another day doing the things we love doing.
Again, my sincerest condolences to you and to Pamela's family.

I hope those shares of sympathy from all of us will act as a balm on your wounds, even though small that balm is...

Very sad story, sincere condolences.

I am so sorry to hear about your and your family's loss. You are right when you say, "Never regret a day and always tell the people close to you how much you love them as you never know if you will see them again". I think we all, at one time or another don't stop and think God for what we do have and whom we have in our lives. I lost my close uncle in 2002 and a friend in 2003 to the same thing. Prayers go out to you and your family from this end.

I have tried to write this post about 10 times now and can't put it into words without sounding cliched - and still can't!!

I just wanted to say how my heart goes out to you - I understand exactly how you are feeling and my thoughts are with you and your family.

HUG!

That is such a heartbreaking thing to have happen to all of you!! Like everyone else, I am so sorry and my heart goes out to you all! My prayer is that somehow, God will give you all the grace to walk through this time, and as hard as it is to imagine -- the experience will make all of you better -- more appreciative of each other and life. Then, Pam's life will not have been lost in vain. I'm praying for all of you too.
