I have a quick question which i'm having a hard time on Minimal Editing. are we allowed to change our jpg file from 8 bit to 16 bit and change adobeRGB settings to sRGB? Just wondering.

I think NO to changing bit depth, but OK to changing the profile setting ... just one opinion though ...

I have to believe you can change the color space to sRGB. That's simply to ensure it is presented the same on every monitor, and doesn't alter the appearance of the image otherwise.

Edited to add missing articles.

Thank you for the response. I just wanted to make sure since those to questions are not clear on the Minimal Editing. And although it would be my first DQ ever if I missed something, I'm trying to avoid it at all possible. :)

I think you should change to sRGB, as ' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', '/') + 1) . ' bohemka said, it isn't going to display consistently if you don't.

Color Space is fine. I don't think there IS such a thing as a 16-bit JPG... Whenever you save a 16-bit PS image as JPG, it converts it to 8-bit anbd removes any extra layers, as JPG only supports single-layer images.
