Nice, but mainly kittens and natural outside light and environment...ideal. For a real challenge try shooting lethargic adult cats in a steel cage... or mangy old ferals outside who don't want to be seen. Of course, pointandshoot is the master of the latter.

So cute, inspiring too.. I have 5 cats so they tend to be a popular subject for me...

If anyone *REALLY* knows cats, and has experience with them, then you know you get a great cat pic when they allow you to take a great cat pic....

This is Dottie.......aka "The Princess".

Not spectacular, but it's what she allowed.....8~)

They are not easy to photograph..

Having cats and just inherited the 3- 4week old kittens for rehab and rescue has not been easy.. they don't stay still unless they are sleeping
they do make perfect models, only if they let you

That was a fun link

Thanks for sharing! I'll have to practice next time I visit my parents. :) Hopefully something challenge worthy will emerge from the effort.

I have 25 cat's in home... all ungrateful to me. If any one want to do small trade, I will have from you Canon EOS C300 Mark II and EF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM len's for 3 cat's. Cat is expensive and you can practice photography with cat, Canon EOS C300 Mark II is cheaper than cat. anyone want's to trade, 3 cat for one camera? it's much relevant to this comments here.
I look forward to good reply and already boxed cat's in antisipatshon of this.
