I just found an awesome, tutorial using lightroom on how to do the selective de-saturation!

I was playing around with photoshop for a while now and was not liking my masking results at all, This made it soo easy peasy!

Love love love this way!

But then again ya all are pros, so you prob already know this trick, but just in case here was the site that was found

You can do exactly the same thing in Camera Raw and Photoshop, and you can do it on JPGs in Photoshop by using Camera Raw as an adjustment filter... It's certainly my technique of choice.
