ROFL. I'm guessing that means no validation?

Oh, no, EVERY entry must be strictly validated. The rules will be arbitrary and subject to whatever interpretation suits our purpose, and violators will be martyred. On the plus side, teams and group support will be encouraged, and each team can assume it won. You'll find out who ribboned after you're dead.

is a scientific experiment going to be used to do the validating or do we get to make up our own validation criteria?

Well, in this case, apparently there really is a God.

I'm still on the fence... I'm a dyslexic agnostic insomniac. I fall asleep wondering if there really is a Dog.

I'm not sure dyslexia covers that. Another miracle?

The very few times my images have had a religious connotation to them they have scored really poorly.
This sounds like a good idea to me.

Probably surprising to most, but there is a VERY strongly religious themed image in my favorites.

' . substr('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_challenge/0-999/945/120/Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_743617.jpg', strrpos('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_challenge/0-999/945/120/Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_743617.jpg', '/') + 1) . '

I think he created the most masterful modern interpretations I've ever seen. Would freaking love a DeSousa challenge, but it needs to run for about a year so I have time to get it done.

Great video too.
