The most verbose in this thread don't generally comment much on challenge entries. The very best among us as far as ribbons and scores and such don't comment on entries in voting much either. It's the middle folks who do the heavy lifting. And it's a great idea! I may or may not try to get in a few comments - mostly I'd like to get in some sleep! Long work week.

Okay FINE. To end this mess I'm going to step forward.

It was me. I did it. I've been lurking this site for years just to downvote everyone I'm jealous of.

Whew, I actually feel a little better now, like a weight has been lifted off my chest.

Thanks Mousie.. Keeping this secret was killing me.

I believe that weight on your chest that's been misdiagnosed as guilt is actually your beard.

Yes and as a punishment for his behavior he should be publicly shaved, totally.

Wouldn't waxing be a better option?

Maybe but SC will have to agree on that, maybe a tad too harsh.

I'd like an investigation into the targeted low voting of my Orton image, its obvious it was down voted because of the subject matter.

No, the two ones were from people who thought you should have taken it from the front.

It's been so peaceful without the cheater cheaters around.
I hope it stays like this after the quiet return that know one is supposed to know about.

Ok, my last response was seen as fueling speculation, so instead of using the kid gloves I'll just be direct.

That seems like a really stupid thing to say, explain how one person who was downvoting one other person was disrupting the peace, and also how the person who downvoted everyone in one challenge was disturbing the peace.

I'll be impressed if anything more complex than "Derp" comes out of you on this.

When one keeps stoking the fire, the embers will glow till the very end.

I'm still waiting for Mousie to be publicy shaved before continuing on this righteous path.

As far as disrupting the peace goes Cory is an expert in the art so we must heed what he says.

When people abide the rules and one person comes in and thinks they above everyone else and vote illegally (whether that be on one person or many) people feel cheated. And then they are cheated again when the cheater obviously tells SC a load of crap to deter them from revealing their identity. And yet the remaining members are not stupid, they arent given any credit in working out who it us. It is pretty obvious who it is. The abiding members feel like mushrooms (kept in the dark and fed a load of b*****it). The persons may return in silence but the members will always remember the cheaters low act. Especially as no apology or adjustment of scores have taken place.

I understand why SC have chosen this path and if I was in their shoes I probably would have done the same. However, I dont believe it has been handled correctly. There have been others in the past who have done less crime with worse punishments and scores were adjusted. The culprit still visits the site and probably will be reading this, so I say to that person to grow up and apologize, if not to the person they targeted, but to the rest of the site.

We have NEVER revealed the names of suspended members publicly. It has never been our policy to do so.

Rikki was suspended for one year. He chose to cancel his account. His namewas revealed and scores were adjusted.

We have no control (nor interest) in idle speculation. If that is something people want to waste their time on instead of taking photographs, that is their prerogative. It is also nothing we can stop.

However, we do not reveal the identity of a suspended member (In Rikki's case, the account was cancelled), regardless of whether a "load of crap" was shared (or not). It is simply irrelevant.

I accept your decision. And I accept that an apology will never be forthcoming. But please tell me why the scores haven't been adjusted?

That is actually a very fair question. Just out of curiosity Judi, how do you think they should be adjusted? Would simply replacing them with a 5 be fair?
