Karen, I always appreciate those who try to make DPC a more inclusive place. Your "Member of the Week" was exactly this. You'll be missed!

Karen, very sad to hear of your decision but c'est la vie. I think I can speak for all of us who were lucky enough to be picked as Members of the Week that the honour's significance will be all the more relevant. Hope you do come back and visit sometime!

I think she should get a free years membership for all the work she's put into this over the years. If we keep her around for the freestudies, maybe it will grow on her again. :)

Karen - thank you for all you have done for this site.
many of us looked forward to your "Member of the Week" feature,
It was a way for us all to be introduced to newer members and
to study the success and techniques of the elders among us.
I'm sorry we lose your own portfolio when you became a "registered user"
and hope that one of these days, you will change your mind and at least
rejoin so we can see more of your work.
Meanwhile, I guess we can bookmark your blog spot, where you post a picture daily.
That in itself is a magnificent achievement.
They make you folks up there in Newfoundland pretty strong and dedicated! |

For those of us who will probably never win a ribbon, to be recognized for one week is truly an honor. So - I thank you for your contribution to help us shine, if only for a little while. You, the "Member of The Week" and your participation in the "Big Month" each year will be missed. Best of luck in your future endeavors.
