I personally like this book:

Picture Perfect Posing, practice the art of posing for photographers and models;Roberto Valenzuela.
Systematic approach covering how various positions of different parts of the body (and of two people together) can affect how an image is perceived, what you can do to improve the overall impact, and how to coach people to reduce things that distract. Knowing "why" gives you the basis for deciding when to follow guidance and when to ignore it -- which is much more useful and powerful than other books that are just a simple compilation of standard poses to select at random.
