The former Blue Ribbon image in the "Horror" challenge has been disqualified for using an image shot by another photographer and screen-capped to construct his tableau. The DQ note reads as follows:

"Your submission must be composed only from photographs taken after the challenge is announced and before the deadline," "must be taken and post-processed by you," and "you may use images that do not meet the source or date requirements as textures in your entry if they function specifically as textures and not to circumvent other rules."

The image of the Reaper was originally taken by someone else outside the challenge dates, and copying it off the monitor comes across as an attempt to get around the rules even if that was not your intention.

We have no doubt that you didn't think this through, but nevertheless it's a clear DQ in our opinion...

Please bear in mind we don't think Stagolee was intentionally cheating. DPCers tend to think Expert Rules" are wide open, but we need to remember that we still have to create virtually all the components of the images ourselves, texture-type images being the sole exception.
