How about the best photo you have. All editing rules will remain in effect but the date of the photo should not matter. Also the subject will be open. Just submit the best photo that you have in your collection of photos you have taken.

How about recreate a famous work of art...(ie take a picture of a model that looks like the Mona Lisa, or Dogs Playing Poker or a Campbell Soup Can)

Wheeler, great ideas! I especially like the second one, I bet we'd get some really creative shots!!

Yeah I like those ideas, but I'd go crazy sorting through all the pictures that I have and trying to figure out which picture I'd consider is my best one.

I like the second idea too, however I don't really think the first one would be suitable for this website.

I think it would be fun to have a challenge where u submit your best photo from your entire collection as well. It would definitely create a nice experience for the voter...

Only if they agreed with you about it being good ;o)

I think the overall quality of the submitted photos would be better regardless...

It would be even better as a speed challenge since not many people would be going out to shoot new images...

I like these ideas. I worry about complaints from people who have just started out in digi photography...but I guess they can always take a shot during the week as well.
