Would it a good choice? I am looking for 70d and I see that they have available with 1 year warranty. Should I go with Refurbished or buy new one for $999? Though with $999 I will get some additional stuff like bag, extra SD card etc.

Yeah they are great and now I see they have a 12 month warranty instead of 3 months as the past. The catches are sales tax for most of us and the fact they are almost always out of stock.

I have only bought lenses.... I person ally would not buy a camera body refurbished even though it's likely fine... They are just so complex and you don't know why it was returned. Lenses are good value mostly.

I bought my 50D as a refurb on their loyalty program. Still working great. I say go for it.

With the 1-year warranty, the refurbs are an exceptional choice. For the 70D, I am currently seeing the body only for $815.32, which is a great deal. Also, FWIW, the "extras" normally thrown in with new bodies are not worth much. The card is likely a slow, low-buck card, and the bag will also be a very inexpensive model.

ETA: I just recently purchased my 6D direct as a refurb, and couldn't be happier.

I got a Canon refurbished 5D Mark II. I was happy with the whole process.

same here.

most refurbished are just returns, they get checked out with higher quality control before being resold.
