Yes, it looks like that to me, too. Last night some others were talking about it as well. Looks like someone is joking around.

I believe that is correct. Although I'm not sure "joking around" is a completely accurate description of the submitter's motivation ... that's an unknown at this time, and I prefer to not speculate on the matter for now.

Yes! It could be art.
A very subjective subject.

Ok, if you vote a "1" on something, and then decide that it is better not to rate something at all (that being a zero, or no score at all), how do you go back to showing no rating? Is there a way, or am I stuck with having cast the "1" into the pot?

A score of 1 is actually better than not rating the photo at all. See...if works on averages, and if a photo scored for example...
5+5+6+6+1 avg=4.6

However, had you not scored that 1 it would looke like this...
5+5+6+6 avg=5.5

So, if you were to remove your vote of 1, it would actually raise the score of the photo. And if you felt that it deserved to have the score raised, then you should score it higher. So, really, I wouldnt see WHY you'd want to remove your vote.

Nothing like really good facts and figures to make your point. Thanks for the reply, hbunch7187. Helped me decide to just sit back and watch my "1" do its work. :-)

What happened to not discussing individual photos during a challenge?

For all you know, you guys might be persuading someone to lower their vote for the koala bear wrestling photo just because the photographer zoomed in a little too close.

Let's keep an open mind, shall we?
