There is a big difference between a meaningless pre-season game and the all important SuperBowl. C'mon man!

3 points in one direction, and 2 in the other.

What?

On two (consecutive?) plays during "garbage time" Seattle DBs attempted to deliver a "punishing" hit on a receiver already substantially tackled (or already on the ground) and ended up injuring a teammate (e.g. Richard Sherman's ankle) instead. Their actions were completely unnecessary to completion of the play.

I don't know what you guys are smoking. Sherman got hurt when caught between another defender and the receiver as both backs got to the play at the same time. It's called defense and unfortunately sometimes players get hurt. Here

Well, the Broncos showed up but didn't play well. Our fans and team still get to return to beautiful Denver, the Rocky Mountains where the snow is the best in years, and the great state of Colorado. Congrats to Seattle, the better team tonight, but I'll take CO any time over the Pacific NW.

You know you have nothing to say about the game when you fall back on which is the better city to live in.....

to tell you the truth...I wouldn't want to live in either city

ok, good.

Greater than Tom Brady? Sure about that?

Well, who is going to fault either choice? I go with Manning though.

ROFL! Really? Well at least the "Bronco" depicted is accurate. ...and this particular "Seahawk" will feast on whatever is thrown into the arena with it.

When I was watching the Broncos highlight videos before the Superbowl it seemed like most of the d-backs were hanging several yards away from the Broncos receivers. Is it just that the AFC doesn't really know how to play defense? The Seahawks play the toughest defense, and the Niners, Saints, and Panthers aren't far behind. The real Superbowl was the Seahawks/ Niners NFC championship game. Either team would have crushed the Broncos. Sorry to the Denver fans for falling for all the hype.

That's the understatement of the season.

I've lived in both places. Nothing against beautiful Colorado, but I'll take the PNW. I guess that means we can never be together, Hahn. ;-)

As for the game, I don't usually like a blowout, but when your home team is in the superbowl, it's hard not to LOVE a game like that. I felt the same when I lived in the Bay Area in the 80's and watched the Niners trounce the Broncos. Denver just looked completely inept last night.

To me, Brady and Manning are a set. I hope they retire at the same time so they can go into the HoF together.

That'd be great, wouldn't it? They constitute one of the great rivalries in all of sports.

Very disappointing game. I don't like either team but I like manning. (I am from Louisiana). I was cheering for Denver...until halftime. Then I mainly just watched commercials

Sorry for the boring game for everybody who didn't have a horse in the race, but I savored every brutal play.

BTW, Manning is still the greatest quarterback of his era. This doesn't change that in my mind.

Kinda a one sided game. I enjoyed a few of the adds, but the ASPCA 15 minute add at halftime featuring nothing but wounded animal noises was a bit carried away don't you think..
