No, and not as good a guess as Kees. You are thinking along the right lines, though. |

Nope, No and no. And Skewsme, nor is it Cliff Richard ;P. I am pretty sure that Kroburg has identified the bird that forms the main clue. |

It's the gannet for sure. One of the biggest colonies can be found on Bempton Cliffs. That's the place? |

That's the one. If you look in the top left hand corner, you can see a photographer laid near the edge of the cliff top - some of my best gannet photos are from an even more precarious position. The cliffs really are very, very high; fall off and you camera definitely isn't going to survive ;) |

I was mislead by the fact you can see land in the background. That's more the view I expect when standing on Bass Rock or the like. When interested in Gannets, wait for one of my next entries in this thread :-)
Will post new image later today. |

I don't think this is one I have visited; will have to play with Google if no one guesses in the mean time.

It's in South Dennis on Cape Cod.
As an aside, Penny's asking if you're headed our way anytime soon. We'd love to see you. Not this week though, we're in California :-) |
