I just "googled" my username for curiosity (do that once in a while) and noticed several links to picstopin.com.

Anyone have any background on this website?

I found a couple of conversation threads about it in other locations ... not much positive.

it appears to be another aggregating type of site with ulterior motives in that it seems to be a front for an online editing tool. since the tool appears to be free, it would probably be a stretch to say the aggregating site is making unlicensed commercial use of the images displayed.

i can't tell where/how they are getting their images, but it seems to be stretching the limits of "fair use".
