Talking about bad timing. You would almost say they did it on purpose

Well, I just wish it didn't have the word "natural" in the title. To me that means oceans, rivers and naturally occurring lakes, for example. It precludes ponds and reservoirs and such. Once I got through the description, I realized that was not the intent. But I know many voters don't read the descriptions and since our river is pretty dull, I feel doomed even before I get out LOL

I took a pretty nice water shot last Saturday. Drat!

Is two weeks of continuous rain considered to be a body of water as well?

I got home from a day at Anglesea where the Anglesea River river enters the sea, and found this. Rollover is 4.00 PM to me. We left the beach to come home around that time.

Ha! I just checked my photos. There was one shot at 4.00 PM (too early?) and the last three were shot at 4.03 PM. (Unfortunately they are not the best shots of the day.)

LAKE HAVASU

I'm not aware of how long you are in Phoenix , but a road trip to Lake Havasu, Antelop Canyon, and the Grand Canyon would be a rather nice 3 day 2 night excursion and would get you covered for water and a great free study.

Go find a spectacular Arroyo, a dry wash, in the golden hour, with Cactus etc, and shoot it, the title it creatively: "Just Add Water and You Have a Flash Flood", whatever :-)

I have got to comment on this: the sky is blue. Not purple.

???

I've certainly seen purple in the sky before. And red and blue and yellow and all sorts of sunset and sunrise colours.

I think you need a bit more sky experience young man.

You could always submit a 'Mirage"?

I just did a quick flip through the entries. There's some really nice stuff in there. I wasn't sure about my entry. It's not horrible, but compared to what I saw, I figure I'll be bottom half, at least.

Your white balance is incorrect.

I wasn't necessarily talking about photographs.
