So I was out and about last week looking for a shot for grain and I came across these kangaroos I was up in the hills of Perth, and they seldom roam around peoples yards up there. These two kangaroos were in the middle of a battle, I have to admit in all my life I've never seen Roos act like this although I know it's common.

I've added some other fun shots as well.

Anyways just wanted to share with you folks, esp those not from downunder.

This was after the battle, they just stood and stared at each

This one looks like he's playing air guitar, ha!
Baby joey here

Cool series. I'll only see those in a zoo. I did see 3 skunks, a nutria, a mouse and a family of wild turkeys while out for a ride last night. Not a single kangaroo, though.

They taste great, but should absolutely NOT be cooked any more than medium-rare otherwise the meat becomes quite tough. A full bodied red wine is a good accompaniment :)

Wonderful series, Anita. Kool animals.

Now, a request: next time you do a series of photos for us to look at, can you put them in a new folder in your REGULAR portfolio? That way we can just click through the images one by one, rather than having to go back to the original post to open each subsequent shot :-)

They are all good, but that shot "Staring game" has a classic and timeless quality to it.

I can't stop looking for some reason. Each photo has a unique personality. They're all very emotive and instantly I laugh.

They bear a remarkable resemblance to a couple learning to Tango....

Hey, GREAT shots, Anita! Much appreciation for posting those. Did you shoot bursts? I imagine in that situation, if you shot in burst mode, you could come away with a lot of shots (like a few of yours) that are perfect for funny memes or greeting cards. Great stuff!

The pictures are in your "Animals" folder, but that folder is inside your Workshop folder, which means that we can see each picture by clicking on the linked thumbnail, but cannot scroll through/browse the images within the folder. You need to move the entire folder/collection out of the Workshop and into the root-level Portfolio, or within another public folder at that level in order for people to do that. If you don't want to make the entire "Animals" folder public, leave it in the Workshop and create a new folder for the roos at the roo(t)-level (sic) and move the pictures there.

ETA if you're thinking of cards (why not?! Maybe think posters too...) I suggest cropping a lot of the busy background, and maybe selectively fading, desaturating, and/or blurring it a bit to bring out the 'roos better ... good work and good luck!
