I have an image that a co worker is trying to get clear for a 4X6 maybe 5X7 frame. It is a small image and it's blurry. Would anyone be willing to take a look at it and see if the image is able to be salvage?

PM me your email and I will send it to you.

Thanks

Hopeless. GIGO.

I certainly don't mean to offend, but if it's really small, and it's blurry - well... I mean, I could DRAW them a picture based on the image or something...

If you think there's really a glimmer of hope, upload it to your workshop and PM me with the image ID. I'll take a whack at it with Topaz InFocus and a few other tricks.

I can't help much with focus issues, but as far as resolution is concerned you can get an "acceptable" print at 100dpi, meaning you only need 400 x 600 pixels*; you can also easily get away with putting a 1/4" border (black or white) around the image, getting the actual image size down to 350 x 550 pixels. Of course, if you have more pixels, even better. Good luck!

* One reason there is persistent resistance to increasing the maximum size of challenge entries.

i've had marginal success with using a combination of Topaz products and layering on two images for a coworker. i'll give it a crack if you want, but i promise only that i will do what i can, not that it will be perfect.

I've had success with that method on some of your images, Cory. Like this one:

;-)

SEG, is it something you can post here?

I understand that I'm asking a lot when I say blurry and small. My skills are not the best especially when It comes to trying to fix or enlarge an image.

I'd rather not post the image in this thread as it is of co workers and i dont think theyd like it online but when I get back to work ill put it in my workshop and send it to those who have offered. I already have one person that has helped and ill have to check it out when I get to work tomorrow.

Thanks everyone

You'll probably also want to make sure to keep Art away from it, unless they are HUGE Godzilla fans or something. ;)

You can send it my way, as well.
