to make it a bit easier - here they are from the first page of that thread:

2013 Team Photo League Rules

Team Photo League is a league-based competition between 6-photographer teams, contested within the established framework of DPC weekly challenges.

Teams will be divided into two leagues, and the leagues will compete independently of each other.

A “season” will consist of as many weeks as required for each team in a league to play each other team in that league once.

After the end of the season, the two league-winning teams will face off against each other after a 2-week hiatus to determine the Grand Champion.

Competition will take place in the three regularly-scheduled, weekly DPC challenges: currently these are the Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday challenges. Free studies and any special challenges will not count in this competition. If in any given week one or more of these three challenges is not held by DPC, then the competition will utilize whichever official challenges ARE run that week.

Team scores will be determined by the 4 best scores by team members that week. A team member may only contribute one score per week.

The winning teams get 3 pts per matchup, and the losing team gets 0 pts. In the unlikely event of a tie (team averages identical in a weekly matchup) each team will receive 1 pt that week.

A team whose 6 members all make entries in a given week will receive a 0.5 pt bonus for that week win or lose.

If fewer than 4 team members contribute an entry in a given week, the team will receive 0 pts towards its average for each player fewer than 4 to compete.

Can you supply more details of the logo requirements please. What size, format etc?

It would be useful to know where the logo will be used so we have a better idea of what to design.

Perhaps you can post some of the logos from the previous TPL so we can see some examples.

Have a look at the results after Week 7 of TPL1. 150x150 px, JPEG would be nice.

Just to stake a claim on the name, team 12 has agreed upon our team name, we're working on Logo/Captain, but we are officially team "Shutter Down", and that's what we're gonna do to our competition when things start up.

Looks like our team 8 is going with the name "Long shots".

As soon as all the teams have come up with a name and a team captain please PM me the details. If you have your logo ready as well send me a thumb to the image.

Is there anyway to find a list of Team names that have been used in past? I tried it in search and did not come up with any.
Thanks

Look at the post right before yours.
That link will redirect you. The last post on that thread has all the team names.

(On my phone, can't link)

Thanks Danielle
That helps. I was trying to find a list of past teams. We are working on a name and for some reason I think it's been used before.
I've been here for 3+ years so it would be within that time frame. Maybe it doesn't matter.

Doesn't matter at all!

You're welcome to carry on with a name that has been used before - no problem with that. In fact, our team name is a direct nod to those who held our team's numeric designation before.

Presumably that'd be my team last year? Just be aware, we got beaten like a drum...

That may be true, but I'm going to try to see to it that this year, Everyone Fears the Trisketeers!

In these dark days, a rag-tag coalition of photographers banded together, striving to find beauty in an increasingly troubled world. Struggling against blurring artistic boundaries, frightened by the tedium of monotony, they wanted only creative distinctiveness. Rejecting the dehumanizing "Team 11" derogation thrust upon them, they came in the fullness of time, to be known as ... The Chromatic Alliance.

The lights dim......

The smoke machine gently pulses out a veil of mystery

THe speakers rumble, a rousing beat starts to hit everyones chest....

The spot light picks out a single hand, a hand beckoning the audience to quieten, be ready, be frightened, very frightened.

Another hand goes up, yet another and another.......6 hands in all. The meet at the top.... HIGH FIVE have arrived....
