Nope. :)

It was from bmartuch, which of course, is fairly ironic considering how much Bob likes me. ;) It was a good comment though, definitely made me grin a bit.

Although you are quite right, they are often not able to score well when they follow their style.

The stars do line up on occasion, but it's not the rule.

And furthermore, has anyone actually ever even ribboned in their own 'style of' challenge?

True they haven't so far, I've wondered that...

and to date still no one has won their own challenge!

The sods are at it again...score was consistent at around 6.2 since the start of voting.
Then at around 45 votes the sods arrived and the drop in score started. Now at 50 votes and score 6.0000 and expecting to keep dropping until the the voting ends.
Will be lucky if by that time my score is above 5.5

Edited for spelling mistakes.

My profile precisely. I guess there's hope for all of us since it's all relative :)

I was at 5.92 before the weekend - now it sits at:

Votes: 50
Views: 101
Avg Vote: 5.8200

In the last year I found that the weekend voters are very picky/critical. Before that it used to be the reverse where the weekend voters spend more time/were more open/looking for other things/generous. It flip flops just like the up and down of the score. I tend to grip the rails when the weekend comes because I know there will be a dip from anywhere to .1 to .6.

Yup -- me too. Actually, in 3 of the 4 challenges entered I've dropped a chunk.

My damage thus far, been going slow and trying to comment most of them

You have rated 48 of 177 images (27%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 41 images (23%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 6.0417.

Hope to get back to vote and comment on more of them

I've always said that!

However this morning all four of mine have gone up, so thanks :)

Not much though, but still up from 12 hrs ago.

No, no, no. Listen up you super critical voters!

You are supposed to vote just on the weekend. That has been your pattern in the past why change it now? You're messing with the patterned order of the universe:-) :-P LOL.

All week it had been floating between 5.82 and 6.00. Oh well, I really like it.

Score isn't wonderful... BUT... it's higher than my Free Study Average (this is only my 6th free study I've entered).
So, I take that as a win. :)
AND... ***I*** like my photo.
So no matter what the score, it's still a "win" in my book. :)

Beating your average is awesome -- I always consider a photo a success when I beat my average. (Well -- liking your photo is #1 -- but hopefully you always do that!! :)

Don't forget that the July Free Study rolls over tonight - I only have 87 votes and I suspect others have much the same.
