Hmm..the last, and ONLY Posthumous Ribbon I ever received was back in 2013. Since then I've been virtually ignored. That is not to say Don doesn't like my photos.. he's posted positive comments many times. I just don't seem to rate a ribbon. Thank goodness for people like Roz who tries to keep the wheels turning and motivating people to get their creative juices flowing. Without her, I probably would have left the site by now. I also want to add that I think people like Don also keep the wheels in motion by pointing out imagery that might otherwise be overlooked. I just wish he would pick one of mine b/c it's probably the only ribbon I'll ever receive.

thankyou so much Don ..
i felt a little sad that during voting this seemed so unloved .. most of the challenge is sat around 5.2 and 5.4 ..
but at the last minute i got something even better than a blue ribbon .. well .. just about . !! ..
to be hung in the  posthumous fantasy gallery ..
thankyou again .. and i will put this on my profile page with much pride .. :)
hopefully that doesnt come before a fall .. !! .. ;) |

Thanks for the and hanging in your fantasy gallery. Always an honor.
Back in February 2011 (less than a year after my first entry here) you adorned this image:
with my first bit of posthumous recognition. I've earned a few ribbons since then and grown artistically and technically. But your humble bling still among my most enjoyable bits of feedback.
Seems that you (and that certain ilk of photographers here who are drawn to a style of artistic photography that is something more than pretty and/or technically strong ) have, and continue to have, a positive influence on how others see their own work. While my tastes and output remain eclectic, I have become better at photographic expression in part due to being exposed to diverse influences at DPC.
I appreciate your vision and the generous time and attention you give to DPC in furthering it.
PS - I'm also among those enjoying your recent collection of Josh Nazarene's poetry.
