You Name it!

******Special Rules:********
(If the powers that be would be willing) Top FIVE will be able to request a title change from the suggestions given.

Description:
Ever had trouble coming up with a good title? Rest easy, just put "Title Needed", "Name Me", or "Your Title Here" in your title and sit back. Voters will have the fun of suggesting good titles in their comments. This is a time for challenge participants and voters to have some good, clean fun.

Rules: Advanced Editing

A free study presented as an open invitation for comments. Would also keep the voters looking at the pics for more then the usual 5 secs :-)

Yes, I know some cannot resist but look at the added Special Rule I'm asking for that I just added. Don't know if it will fly BUT it would add a little more incentive to leave comments especially if one can get chosen.

Just checked this afternoon. You cannot have just a period or dashes in the title because the Title field will not accept it. I got this message:

"Your title must contain at least 1 letter or number."

I changed the wording in the description to reflect what one can do. You can enter o/o or -o- and it would be fine because you have at least one letter in the title.

Why not just have everyone title their image "Title Needed"? :-)

Or "Name Me" or "Your Title Here" or even the dreaded (by me) "Untitled" ... it would be good to have it be uniform so that people are not subtly influenced by the "non-titles."

Photographers should put their own suggested title in the notes.

In an ideal world (hah!) people could title their own picture the usual way, and Langdon could tweak the code so that the title does not display (for this challenge only) until after the voting concludes, at which point titles could be changed ... I'm not sure changing needs to be restricted to the top five though. Also I hope some people leave a comment beyond the suggested title ...

Excellent suggestion Robert! I'll change the description to reflect your suggestion.

Hey! What wrong with entitled? That's the best title ever.

If this is picked I will do something so strange and outlandish that no two commenters could possibly come up with the same title...

I like how this is evolving and it would be great if Langdon could tweak the code so that title does not display and that titles could be changed after voting is done JUST for this challenge only. Don't know how much time or tweaking the code would detail but that would be a great one time deal if it can be done.

Oh, and I also think your suggestions on alternate titles for the Title fields are excellent. I'll change the description to reflect your suggestion.

Let's do it! I HATE coming up with titles for my photos -- how wonderful to not have to title it -- yet how fun to title someone else's!

I like this idea so much I my just do it for every challenge. I'll wait until after this challenge of course as not to weaken the premise.
