I get burned out with challenges after a while, so take a few months hiatus to revitalize my creativity and enthusiasm.

I left to take care of some other areas of my life. While I was here previously I felt a little too much pressure (from myself) to enter every challenge that I could. That took time that I need to direct elsewhere, so I left.
I came back because I was feeling the creative urge again, and I like the challenge format. I wanted to have a direction to start off in when I just felt like making images, but didn't necessarily have a specific idea.

i been dropping back in once & while
why did i leave ? number of reasons
league stuff board me ..
was taking alot of NON-DPC pictures ..
real life was getting complicated ..
why do i come back
occasionally to see wht the challenges are
submit once in while ...
see who is still around ...
still can't submit my DIY digital camera pictures though, no EXIF in my images :(

I've been tapering off lately and may drop out of challenges completely for a while. I'm busy with other things and most of the photos I enter are the sort that my friends wow over but you folks find mediocre at best. My preferred style and subjects don't resonate here any longer and I'm not going out specifically to shoot for challenges.

I left for about 10 minutes when I was accused of cheating. I came back because they unaccused me.
I was quite amused by people who thought the name of the "posthumous ribbons thread" was just a coincidence, and I didn't have any right to lock the thread. |

Crikey I see what you mean, your recent challenge entries are all pretty damn good but most under 6 ..... |
