Folks always seem to look for reasons to DNMC an image. Why not follow the spirit of the challenge than be a militant anally following the letter of the law? You'll enjoy this site a lot more, I guarantee it.

if i can't look for flaws in others how can i expect not to make the same mistakes myself?

Big difference between looking for flaws in an image and looking for reasons to DNMC an image.

depends on your objectives.

Scores vs photographic improvement.

I was under the impression it was about bowling, and am handing out ones to any entry that doesn't involve pins, balls, gutters or The Jesus.

im voting a 1 to anyone that doesn't have a border.

Please tell me you're being facetious.

I like that - especially given my current score - I wish more of the voters felt the same way.

FYI: I was penalized by at least one voter specifically FOR my border (although I have to admit that it really wasn't very good as far as frames go...). ;-)

I still like my capture of the subject (which takes up most of the frame). And I can live with the backlash. =D

Nikon users get a 1 too. And yes I can tell.
