I picked up the Samsung NX1000 the other day as it was on sale, and reviews show it to be a pretty decent micro four thirds camera. So far the images are looking pretty good. I took a few with it the day I got it - of course before reading the manual, so before I knew all the nifty little tricks I can do with it.
Here are a few of the images re-sized for the web:

What type processing are you using? Some nicely detailed shots.

Some of the shots are basic editing, a couple I played around with in Topaz , and then the one of the white flowers is straight from the camera.

Pretty sure the NX1000 isn't considered a micro four thirds camera because it utilises an APS-C sized sensor.

Infact I'm pretty sure it has a,(slightly), larger sensor than your Canon 50D.

You are correct that it is not a micro...meant to just say it as 4/3 or mirror less. It does utilize a nice sized APS-C sensor, which has so produced some nice images.

With the help of NX1000 you can click awesome photos , it has a fairly good range of options when it comes to playing, reviewing and managing your images. You can instantly scroll through the images that you have taken, view thumbnails zoom in and out up to 14.2x magnification, view slideshows, delete and protect an image and set the print order. You can take macro photos also with this camera.
