Mine's been bouncing all over and is currently doing better than I think it deserves, which just confirms my belief that I have weird taste. (I bugged my loved ones for their opinions, and ended up going with what they agreed was best; I thought it'd be worth a try, since my favourites usually don't fare well - a DPC voters' taste vs mine experiment, if you will.) I don't expect it to stay where it's at, though. It's still at only 177 votes, with 6 comments; the score could change drastically yet.

It's been varying .2 or so every day. So we'll see.

188 votes and only 1 comment! Thank you to the person who commented though. I guess I should feel pretty good about my score since this is my first entry. And I've noticed that people who comment usually give higher scores, so I'm not benefiting from that, and my score is still pretty good.

I have actually come up since yesterday. I don't expect it to move too much. I thouhgt my shot would do better, but I am down from my last few challenges. Life is a learning experience. One thing, there are hardly any comments this challenge.

Thanks for the encouragement, Paul. I know I still have a way to go before I get to the quality level I would like to be at, but I'm trying.

Donna, I think the second one is excellent and may have done pretty well,

I probably should have posted my second or third choices. Would these have done any better?

I agree. I was skeptical on submitting shots that had loose framing, (I am a bit sore after being hammered in the Nude) but compared to half of the entries in the challange my non-submitted shots had rock solid framing.

Ok, it's above average, but far from the top. I don't really care, just surprised to be above average with not more effort. Sometimes the effort doesn't count.

i did not get a good result (expected it anyway :P) but i feel some simply put a border around the photo and expect it to be a "frame"....hmm....i dunno abt the rest....but i dun find that fits into the challenge (although i agree mine does not really fit in too...)

Not too bad for this kind of photo!
I'll be more clever for the next challenge. Good luck!

I've been getting so many comments with previous challenges but this challenge has been sitting at 5 comments for the whole day. odd. Guess its one of those where you can't think of anything to say .. heh

My first submission.

Not too shabby I guess. I figured I'd be in the middle of the pack. This is exciting!

Well, with 91 votes in and a 4.5 avg.. I think I'm pretty much where I'm going to be from here on in. I might jump up to a 4.9 or 5 on the last day with that trend that happens, but I won't count on it. So.. now that I know I'm a misunderstood genius.. it's time to concentrate on the next two challenges..

PHOTO HO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have found some really great shots in the fairy tales and I think we should be seeing some good scores like 7.4 for a blue.

My Fairy Tales submission was more of a snapshot and is doing better, though I think it's a so-so picture:

Guess it has a lot to do with what the quality of the other submissions are.
