Hold your horses...

first we need a long, very long trial.. and his family will be brought to US at taxpayers expense, so they can be close, and comfort him...and stuff.
than we need a couple movies made about his childhood, and countless documentaries related and unrelated to the events....and movies about legal teams and how they had to prepare...and than more bull... and than we will find out it was not his fault, and we need to have understanding for his problems.
and at the end WE will be informed every time he is not happy with the meal he gets served in his room...and about all the rights that are taken away from him....

Stop being dramatic. If you don't have empathy for him, that's fine. But don't cry that the rules are being followed. Everyone has the right to a fair trial, whether or not we already 'know' the truth.

If you are so confident that you've got the right man, then you should have no problem going through the steps to make sure that everything is done properly. When people aren't willing to follow the process, it tells me that they are willing to let emotions rule them, rather than the law, and that's not the kind of society that I want to live in.

just out of curiosity , are you a lawyer?

No I'm not.

I'm shocked you are not...
I can see a lawyer trying to find an excuse for couple of guys running around Boston with guns and explosives and participating in shootouts with a police. Of course I was not there. but seems like you know they are innocent, and I'll take you word for it. or am I mixing emotions with information provided by number of sources?

Due process is a pillar of our legal system. You don't need to be a lawyer to realize that, and it makes no sense to complain about it.

I have to agree with you, I guess what got me going is that article in NYtimes, about poor kid from war torn country not fitting in his new home...blah, blah.

I agree to the due process..but IF found guilty. I think there is enough evidence. He does not need to spend life in prison. He needs to be executed

Too bad he just got his citizenship last year or perhaps they could have dealt with him under enemy combatant status.

I am for death penalty if found guilty ( express- express lane), but in this case it will never happen

From NBC... Tsarnaev will be questioned by a federal team called the High Value Detainee Interrogation Group, which includes officials of the FBI, CIA, and Defense Department, an Obama administration official said.

I might have missed it in all the excitement, but is Salon.com happy that it DID turn out to be a white guy from America?

Just wondering....

+1 for blind (and swift) justice

I dunno, but apparently Fox News have pointed out for their, admittedly constantly, confused viewers at home that “Chechens are not Caucasian” which propels them into a startling new stratosphere of idiocy. They don't really get maps, Fox News. Anything to keep those Boston bombers from being white I guess.

If you think that my post states that I think they are not the bombers then you need to learn not to read into things.

What I said, and it still above in the quote if you need to refer to it, is that you are being dramatic.

In this country, all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court. Not on TV, not in the newspapers, not on Facebook. If the state cannot prove in court that they have the correct person, then that person goes free.

Where did I state that I don't think that these two people bombed the Marathon?

i agree with Dave, this country affords rights and you don't just throw them away to appease the public.

We know all know he's guilty but he still gets his chance to waste our time trying prove his innocence. The laws are there to protect our free nation and even the scum of the earth get them. We have lost enough freedoms over terrorism, we don't need to lose more in the name of "public safety".

I don't know about their audience, as I'd watch them before the others, but their map people suck. They've mislabeled the southern states several times here lately.

Indeed. And so it goes on and on and on. 'Terrorist scum'...'Soldier hero'......Back and forth. Men, women and children getting killed and mutilated. Very sad cycle of things. Very sad. It would be great if some good guys came along at some point but i guess that's never going to happen.
