Yes, this is very much the plan.

RE: When will it be posted?

As soon as I get the formatting right - sorry guys but DPC's engine has thrown a few kinks in my original plan. I'll get it, and of course, life is still busy - Epsi and I have some work-time scheduled for tomorrow.

Thanks Cory!

I'm really enjoying our team! We get along very well.

I can't wait to have a view of how TPL is going!

No, no website ever - the results will always be posted to a thread.

Which is, I think, better anyway - as that way it's a part of DPC, not an outside website that might go dark.

Thanks, Cory ... and MAK and the whole TPL Team!

So can you say when will we see standings now that week 1 is completed?

The FIRST challenge to count towards TPL is the human portrait challenge (either one) you wont be able to enter both because of DPC not TPL.

Every other challenge (except free study and 24/48 hour challenges) until rollover tuesday evening will count towards TPL

Hope that clears it up

It clears up which challenges will be counted, but I'm unclear about challenge timing.

It seems that our entries for Tuesday's (starts Wednesday Eastern time) (i.e., Portrait(s)), and Thursday's (starts Friday midnight Eastern time) and Sunday's (starts Monday midnight Eastern time) challenges will all be counted for the first weekly competition.

This infers that the actual recording of the weekly scores will have to wait until a week after the Sunday/Monday rollover to be counted. So the complete first weekly competition results will be available after midnight Eastern time on March 17/18. Is that correct?

yes.

This is back to the old rules of exclusive challenges: when you submit to one, it locks the other.

There is a bit of confusion on our team as to the first challenge of the TPL; I thought it was Portrait, others think it is Smoke. Who is right?

They said it's the one that's announced on the 6th (today) as I understand it.

Either. You can choose the advanced editing or the minimal editing. It's a one or the other choice. :)

That's not at all clear. I would have thought you could submit to both. Will there be something that keeps us from submitting to the second Portrait challenge once we've submitted to the first?

I mean, I can see why the TPL parameters might require that team members pick one or the other, but I'm not seeing any indication of a restriction in the challenge descriptions.
