It's from the actions of adults that they are formed.

I am the mother of four grown "children". My husband and I raised them strict and hard/soft. Because my hubby and I took their raising seriously, we gave up my income and I homeschooled them for twelve years because we wanted them to have morals and values in addition to a good education.

I think that they would... all four... see the humor in this... even if it happened to them, as I would if it happened to me.

I also don't think they would have done anything criminal or let it go on too long to where it was not funny (as Slippy did not).

Sometimes, it's the simple things in life that make life fun. Really... Remember, it's a text message she sent to the wrong address. It's funny. If she were more careful, then this lesson would not be in front of her so humorously. Somebody else might have met her at "at Formac on Monday" with a hamster gerbil (sorry, Bear!!) and an axe to kill her.

Really... see??? It's all in fun. No harm done.

What if he'd carried it further... arranged to meet with her to talk about "Sue"... and then...

She needs to be aware of her surroundings... her texts can get her killed. This time it was only in fun... next time... someone might not be as kindly fun as Slippy/"Fake John".

BTW, Rodney big_round_chancellor, WELCOME to DPChallenge!

When you're here for as long of a time as Slippy has been, people will defend you as much as we defend our Slippy.

He may be off a bit sometimes (but not as often as I am), but... he's... OURS!

I like your entries so far... so fun that you include your "logo" in them! Truly! I love it!

I can't wait to see more from you.

why are you guys trying to rationalize with a cartoon character?

clearly this person realizes that normal is overrated.

That's setting a fine example now isn't it! How to be rude and obnoxious.

trololoooooooooo

I don't know if you've picked up on it yet BRC, but no one is biting on your troll like ways. We're all far to cynical and bitter around here.

Don't spend too much time defending buddy, I don't know how many of his posts you've seen but he is clearly involved in trolling around here, I am guessing he is continuing to develop the BRC character.

True. I had a handle on the character some time ago, and I find it entertaining. The screen name fits with the persona "Holier-Than-Thou, High-Horse". I would think there should be some "Self-Entitlement" added in, but haven't seen that yet. The BRC photos are silly and fun, however, and don't fit with the forum character, so Fail on that.

It's ironic now that the BRC has taken over top spot in the Holier-Than-Thou area (though fake) and dethroning Bear_Music, Bear has become full of beans.

Who's going to do some research and get the actual background on the BRC? I enjoy the character, but would like to see more photos/illustrations added in to his forum posts.
