Is he being held for questioning? |
Hahahaha!
I'm enjoying all of Lost's adventure photos!
I notice, though, that many people are looking and not many are commenting.
I love it that the people with whom Lost has visited are taking the time to photograph him on his adventures and then take more time posting them for us.
Please comment when you see his travel shots.
So fun |
Having trouble to get the program to download propley also South Africa has a postal strike at th moment hope it resolves before Lost arrives he might reallly get lost..

I'm sure it will be resolved before he comes to South Africa as he's not scheduled to arrive there at least until December! |

If you are referring to the central location where the pics are being collected would someone provide that information/link again. Thanks.

Erm - you have a little folder on sugarsync, and access to everybody else's...there's no forum right there though...
Here's the url for facebook:
//www.facebook.com/pages/LOST-The-Penguin/339165846202458
https://www.sugarsync.com
Gets everybody to the sign-up page. If you're all signed up then Tome may have included you in the Lost folder. This is good, but doesn't make for public showing or forum.
Mak started a blog which may or may not have potential.
Should someone have a portfolio folder on dpc?
A Lost picture posting thread?

At the risk of putting words into her mouth, I think Lydia was referring to the images we've posted here in our individual portfolios, and this thread is where those pics are being posted.

do we need to start looking for another charity

The question is how do you hope to raise any money ? Don't get me wrong I am all for charity but I,m not sure how sending Lost around the world is going to generate any ?
You need sponsers but then what will a sponser gain as opposed to giving a direct donation.

Tiny, wasn't the original idea to document the journey "Lost" is taking, and then make it into a book, and sell the book.
Donate the proceeds to a charity. |

Doesn't need money, it would be done on a print-on-demand basis. People would order the books from that source. We HAVE the talent available to create the book, it's not hard. |

Exactly.. We may need another charity if they don't respond quicker, I will email them again for a final time.
I am hoping that people involved here and friends etc will buy the book and then we can advertise it too.. Even if we sell one book for £1 then it's still a pound towards helping people and in my book, that is worth all the effort. |

What about Comic Relief if Children in Need are not responding?

If you keep updating the Facebook page then if you tell me the login details for the WordPress blog, I'll update it as I update the Blogger blog and the map.

I like the fact that Comic Relief works with projects all over the world. A world travelling penguin does kind of fit in well with the whole fund-raising zaniness of Comic Relief. Otherwise, I would second someone's suggestion of the WWF or a charity that specifically works with penguins. |

Lost has arrived in York but is going to have to spend a night at the sorting office as I won't be able to pick him up until after work tomorrow. He will need his rest before a weekendnf sight seeing. |

Remember it's harder to get hold of guns over there -- he'll just have to overwhelm people with herring-breath ... :-) |

Still keeping an eye on his travels here. When PUG-H sends him to South Africa I'd suggest some form of registered post. The postal strike here has come to an end but sorting is backlogged for two weeks at least possibly 4. I'm sure come December all will be ok.
Enjoy the world tour Lost!
