Wow such an amazing response.. Lost has already started packing and says he is looking forward to seeing the world and he promised that one day he will come home and tell us all about it.

I have no idea how long this will take to complete but I think it will make a wonderful story book with photos. Maybe we can all add our own little tale with lost and a few pics then when he gets home I will make a storybook all about it.

Lost has got a nice Velcro back so before I send him on his way I will put an SD card in his back. Before you send him onto the next person maybe you could add a pic or 2 to the SD CARD.. Or is this too much? Maybe we can simply upload the pics via DPC. Let me know what you think please.

I'm excited for him. Hanae & I honestly have no idea where he came from, while cleaning the middle room one day he was sat behind my studio desk on the floor, none of our friends have lost him so he must be a traveller.

So far he will visit the USA, OZ, AND EUROPE, oh, and JAPAN too, CANADA & FINLAND. Lucky bugger, I want to go too.

I've made a place for his stay... in my car. It's a small country but I will give it a good tour.

If you want him to start his tour in the UK he is most welcome in North Wales.

Pics uploaded would be a nice idea as he goes os his travels.

Oh, I hope this really happens. Peregrine went MIA and never did make it to Finland.

He would be very welcome to visit the South West of England on the UK leg of his grand tour.

SD card of several Gb should be more than enough if everyone puts a couple of "DPC-sized" jpegs. In parallel, we could open and share a Dropbox or similar account where we can do a backup of the card, once in a while - and allow the rest of us to enjoy his journal. Of course, everyone can post them here but it's good to have them all in one place.

Btw I'm thinking about doubling the offer - adding to the photos a few clips of video footage of the little guy's adventures, from cobblestone streets to mountain vistas of the Southern Balkans 8-).

I have a yousendit account whose dropbox we can utilize and have me post "updates," if we want to go that route.

Didnt we do this once before and the subject disappeared before it ever made it through the list?

Sure, but all but one are members, and hopefully we can keep more on top of things this time. I think it will be important to create general timeline as well as an update from users for when the penguin is being sent from the prior destination. If the proceeding user hasn't received notice from hte prior user, we know we have a problem.

I will include an 8GB SD card in his back so people can add files in JPG and hopefully he wont get 'lost' again.. I will, of cause, publish the photos and if anyone wants a copy they are most welcome.

Hopefully if we keep it tight and up front then Lost will make it back home to UK in one piece and return to his special little place between my monitors in my studio..

I will make a list soon enough when i get on a decent machine..

Maybe each person could capture edit and upload their own image to the thread while placing a full res version into the card for his slide show on return.
