If you believe in God, that's not a problem. If you don't, then I can understand how it would seem silly. I used to wrongly believe in Theistic Evolution -- that God used the big bang, blah blah blah... even wrote a paper in college on it. But after studying the matter, six days is not far fetched and is not contradicted by any actual science.

It's contradicted by theories and man's presumptions and assumptions, but not actual science.

The Creation account has been the same since Moses wrote it down.
Evolutionary theory has changed countless times as the theory gets "corrected" by science.

Given enough time, the theory of evolution would itself "evolve" into the Creation account.

Of course. The Holy Spirit wrote the Word through Moses... He was there and knew what happened. Those other accounts came well after Creation.

oh well that makes it all valid then.
